今晚，我们在中国大使馆共同庆祝新中国建立62周年。总统阁下莅临，我们倍感荣幸。各位贵客到来，我们格外高兴。我想借此机会，向所有生活在巴基斯坦的中国同胞致以节日问候，并向给予我们兄弟般关爱的巴基斯坦友人表示感谢。今天下午，中国国务委员孟建柱结束其对巴基斯坦的成功访问乘专机回国。我想借此机会向巴方对孟国委一行的高规格接待表达由衷的谢意。
It is our great honor tonight to have His Hon. President Zardari with us. It is also our great pleasure to have all the distinguished guests joining us today. On this auspicious occasion marking the 62nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all the Chinese nationals residing in Pakistan and thank our dear Pakistani friends for all your brotherly affection for us. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks for your gracious hospitality and thoughtful arrangements accorded to His Hon. Chinese State Councilor Meng Jianzhu and his delegation.
